According to Gasco: In our quest to develop partnerships that bring measurable contributions to building a stronger, commercially-focused and performance-driven organization, we and other ADNOC Group Companies were honored by a visit of the Dutch Energy Solutions trade delegation on Tuesday, March 14th.

The UAE and the Netherlands have a long-standing, intensive trade relationship and actively cooperate in many economic fields, investments and knowledge exchange opportunities. For the Netherlands, the UAE are the most important trading partner in the region and the final destination for 40% of their GCC exports. The UAE is home to more than 200 Dutch companies, which are active in many industries, such as the oil and gas, agriculture, aerospace, infrastructure and dredging. In 2013, mutual trade between the two countries was worth more than 3.3 billion euros.

The trade delegation comprised representatives of 13 different companies, who are active in the oil & gas business, ranging from industrial services, innovative desulphurization technologies, vocational training and personnel certification to the TNO institute for Research and Development. The business-to-business discussions covered areas of collaboration in existing and new technologies. GASCO was represented by GLT and ELT members responsible for engineering services, major projects, HSE and talent development. The exchange of information was facilitated by the Dutch embassy.

After the plenary session, members of the trade delegation met one-on-one with their GASCO counterparts and agreed to follow-up on subjects of mutual interest in the future.
