The Energy Reinvented Community theme for 2023 rightfully is ‘Greening security of supply’. We all feel the need to structurally focus on building a sustainable energy system to deal with the heartfelt challenges of today: geopolitical security of supply, energy poverty, capacity issues due to electrification, and the need for demand response management for us to change our behavior and reduce our energy consumption. This will be at the center of our first event in 2023: ‘Heat Transition – Scale to the people’.
HEAT TRANSITION – SCALE TO THE PEOPLE
Date: 28 March 2023
Time: 09:30 – 18:30
Location: Stadspaleis ZZIIN, The Hague
(deadline registration ends 23 March 2023)
Heat forms a substantial part of our energy system, produced and consumed in industry, horticulture, and in our homes and offices in the built environment. At the moment, the Netherlands are not even close to reaching the goals set in the Climate Agreement. And we are starting to feel the consequences on our energy bills, of energy dependency, and of climate change. We urgently need acceleration and scale. Better overview, insight and planning, collaboration, inclusion, and execution power all are needed. Hosted by EBN and co-hosted by the Municipality of The Hague, we organise the event to discuss and search together for ways to scale up our efforts and accelerate.
Young professionals:
Young people play a crucial role in the energy transition because of their fresh outlook and courage to think outside the box. That is why the ERC partners offer 30 free entrance tickets for new members below the age of 30. The tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. So, please stimulate your young colleagues to join the event. Please contact our project manager via connie@energyreinventedcommunity.com to register for these special tickets. And remember, membership of ERC is free.
The registration for 23 March is open. Please do not forget to register for the focus group of your choice and secure your seat!
Ticket and participation fee:
In light of preventing no-shows and wasting food, we ask for a participation fee of € 75. Your ticket is personal and not transferable, and valid for the full event on 28 March, including all catering mentioned in the program. Refund of your ticket is possible until 7 days before the event will take place. If you are a student, please contact the ERC project manager about the discounts especially for students.
