TNO is the leading independent research and technology organisation of the Netherlands with 3000 highly educated employees. The focus is on applied research and technology in the area of Energy, Industry, Mobility, Health and Security. TNO serves as the research organization for the Dutch ministry of defense, and holds the Geological Surveys of the Netherlands.
In the area of oil and gas TNO has around 300 experts in the area of geology, exploration, fluid flow modelling, innovative materials, smart sensing, production optimization who advise our industrial clients in the areas of exploration, on- and offshore production, gas transport and storage, unconventional oil and gas, LNG, asset integrity and carbon capture utilization and storage.
TNO serves as a research and technology partner for the major IOC’s and NOC’s, as well as a high level technology consultant for the supply industry and engineering companies worldwide. We also advice the government on policy issues related to the development of subsurface energy resources.
